Chekhov and GLMCC

The Michael Chekhov Acting Technique has been transformative for me as a performer and as an educator. The Michael Chekhov Acting Technique is focused on approaching creative work from an Atmosphere of Joy, and encouraging students to pair a powerful, externally-focused imagination with an engaged and dynamically expressive body onstage. The Chekhov community that I became part of at the Great Lakes Michael Chekhov Consortium (GLMCC) is comprised of artists of the highest caliber, whose devotion to their students is matched only by the power of their work. I was honored to receive the title of Certified Teacher of the Michael Chekhov Technique on June 13, 2015, through Kent State University and the Great Lakes Michael Chekhov Consortium Teacher Certification Program. I encourage educators and actors alike to become experienced with the Chekhov Technique!
